6/10/2023 0 Comments Mac mcanally daughtersShe was known as a wonderful cook-especially her homemade rolls, cookies and pecan pies that her grandkids would often hide from each other at family events. Lulu Mae taught herself to sew, cook, and play piano. She was a precinct worker for Logan County for several years. In 1977, she and Mac opened McAnally’s Corner Corral in Coyle eventually opening stores in Perry, Perkins, Edmond, Ada, and Seminole. Lulu Mae graduated from Draughn’s Business School in Oklahoma City and then worked as a waitress in Oklahoma City, OK for 17 years. They farmed and at one time had a Grade A Dairy. When Mac returned from his service in the Army they established their life-long residence at Coyle. During the war she lived in California and worked in the shipyards. “Mac” McAnally on Main Langley Field, VA. Lulu Mae graduated from Scipio High School in 1940 and was a member of Brown’s Corner Chapel. She passed away on Saturday, Augin Stillwater, OK. ![]() ![]() ![]() Lulu Mae was born on Decemin Scipio, IN to Edward and Myrtle (Nichalson) Welch. ![]() Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie, OK. Interment will follow at Clarkson Cemetery, Coyle. Funeral services for Lulu Mae McAnally, 87, of Coyle, OK, will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Augat Coyle Christian Church with Pastor John Pryor officiating.
